WE'RE PLASTIC FREE!

In trying our very best to be a sustainable small business, we have decided to go completely plastic free. Selling lots of fragile ceramic and glassware pieces, the easy option would have been to go down the route of using traditional bubble wrap and cheap void fill peanuts. However, after lots of research, we've found a selection of completely green, environmentally-friendly packaging products:

• Cardboard boxes made from recycled materials (we also try our very best to reuse boxes whenever possible)
• Recycled void fill paper
• Bio-degradable and recyclable gummed paper tape
• Geami WrapPak (a paper alternative to bubble wrap)

Geami WrapPak- an environmentally friendly alternative to bubble wrap- needs a special mention… It’s made from biodegradable, recyclable kraft paper and is specially designed to create a 3D honeycomb structure as it wraps around products. The wrap is also rather pleasing on the eye and (in our unbiased opinion) really adds to the unpacking experience. We’re super pleased to have found this product as it trumps bubble wrap when it comes to sustainability and aesthetics!
